On Saturday, volunteers from across the country united for Make A Difference Day, one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide. Since 1992, volunteers and communities have come together on Make A Difference Day with a single purpose: to improve the lives of others.

WFAA employees, in conjunction with our company TEGNA, partnered with Dallas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to bring awareness to abused and neglected children in court. Dallas CASA volunteers are trained and supervised to gather information and make recommendations that help judges decide the best possible outcome for children in foster care. WFAA and Dallas CASA renovated five Dallas CPS playrooms, as well as raising funds and awareness for Dallas CASA’s need for volunteers.
