Troopers are investigating a crash that killed two people in Collin County Friday.
Troopers said it happened on FM 981, about three miles east of TX 78.
An initial investigation determined a blue, Ford F-150 pickup was traveling west on FM 981 when it crossed the center line and hit a silver Ford F-150 traveling in the other direction.
The driver of the silver pickup died at the scene. The driver of the blue pickup was sent by air ambulance to Medical City Plano with serious injuries. A passenger in the blue pickup also died at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
