Jaquan Griggs faces a murder charge, according to Garland police.
Quintuis Amos, 22, was found fatally shot at the bottom of a stairway at the Meadow Creek Apartments in the 500 block of Tacoma Drive on Saturday morning.
Investigators believe Griggs and Amos "were involved in a disturbance that led to the shooting," according to a police news release.
