DALLAS — Dallas Fire-Rescue's Swift Water Rescue Team was running a training session Sunday afternoon in the Trinity River when they discovered a body floating in the water, DFR said in a statement Sunday.

There is not much information on the body, as it was unidentified, and badly decomposed, DFR said. Rescue teams are in the process of bringing the body to shore at the training location in the 1200 block of Riverwood Road.

Crews will then hand over the body to Dallas Police and the Medical Examiner's Office.
