GARLAND, Texas — Nobody was injured, but eight of the apartment units at 701 W Buckingham Road in Garland were affected by a two-alarm fire Saturday around 2:30 p.m., officials said.
Fire officials believe the building was probably hit by lightning, since the fire started between floors and the wiring caught fire.
Officials did not say how many people were affected or how many units were occupied. The event is under investigation.
