Viewer videos capture intense lightning during round of severe storms in North Texas

A line of storms brought strong winds, heavy rain and lots of lightning through the area Sunday night.

With this much lightning, you would have thought Thor himself was in North Texas.

A line of severe storms moved from west to east across the area Sunday night, bringing strong winds and heavy rain through the evening.

The area also saw a lot of lightning shows during this round of storms, and some of them were captured on video by WFAA viewers.

One viewer, Noelle, in Denton took video of an impressive lightning show. You can watch in the video below:

Just wow!

Viewer Kaci Thompson captured video of lightning in Azle. You can watch in the video below:

Along with the lightning, strong wind gusts from 50 to 70 mph were reported through the evening.

Pictures of fallen trees and tree limbs were taken by viewers.

Luckily, there were no threats of hail with this line of storms Sunday evening.

And, of course, you can't forget about the pets. One viewer's good boy showed his concern with the weather.
