The State Fair of Texas is here — and the weather is looking good this weekend

We're used to a warmer fall in Texas, and we'll see that for the opening weekend, but overall it will be nice.

DALLAS — The calendar has officially transitioned to fall, which means it is time for The State Fair of Texas!

The weather will definitely cooperate for opening weekend of the fair as well. Maybe not as cool as we want, but it really will not be terrible. Even heading into Monday it looks great!

Into the upcoming workweek

A pattern change will take shape in the middle of next week. Scattered showers and storms will be possible Tuesday - Friday. The best chance is Wednesday and Thursday.

Rain Chances Go Up Next Week

The Dallas-Fort Worth area could receive up to a inch of rain next week with higher totals west.  A few stronger storms are possible, but the overall severe weather threat is low.
