All of North Texas is under a Wind Advisory for Friday.
The high wind gusts in the area prompted a ground stop at DFW Airport Friday afternoon.
There's also an elevated risk for grass fires, mainly from the I-35 corridor westward.
There were at least two grass fires in Kaufman County, yesterday with numerous power outages as well.
As of 3 p.m. Friday, there were 255 active outages with more than 10,000 customers affected.
The winds will relax overnight Friday into Saturday morning. After a cold start, temps will rebound nicely on Saturday with sunny skies and milder on Sunday.
