FORECAST | Fall-like Air Arrives Tonight

Heat will build back in for the weekend

CLEVELAND — Cue the bonfires around northeast Ohio! After days of much-needed rain and not-so-much-needed cloud over, we're drying out! And cooling down!

The combination of an area of low pressure and the remnants of Isaias will pull down some unseasonably cool air for early August. Humidity will begin falling tonight and so will the temps. We'll likely see low 60s along the lake and even mid and upper 50s inland!

Expect a beautiful day Wednesday with a few lake effect showers in the snowbelt. Otherwise we'll see sun giving way to bubbly afternoon cumulus clouds with highs in the low to mid 70s.

Temps will warm back up for the weekend though with 80s returning along with humidity and the chance for storms next week.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with lingering shower chances. Low 60s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny skies with a few lake effect showers, mainly early. Refreshing! Low to mid 70s.

THURSDAY: Sun with a few clouds. Pleasant! Upper 70s.

FRIDAY: Sun with a few passing clouds. Near 80.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer. Low to mid 80s.

SUNDAY: Increasing clouds and more humid. Upper 80s.

MONDAY: Variable clouds with scattered storms. Mid to upper 80s.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy with isolated storms. Mid 80s.
