NEW ORLEANS — Dense fog across the entire area this morning, but it should begin to improve after 10 AM. A mix of sun and clouds by this afternoon with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Sunday night looks quiet with  more dense fog across the area. Lows will be in the upper 40s north of the lake to lower 50s south of the lake. Sunday looks partly cloudy and warm in the mid 70s with more moisture. 

Monday big changes return with our next cold front moving into the region. It will be very warm near 80 degrees with showers and t-storms likely during the afternoon and evening. A few strong storms are possible late on Monday. By early Tuesday colder air moves in with lingering clouds and showers early on Tuesday. By the afternoon things will be chilly in the 50s with some sunshine. 

Wednesday and Thursday look chilly with morning lows below freezing away from the lake and in the upper 30s in the metro. The afternoons will be sunny and cool in the mid 50s. 

Friday rain chances return with more clouds and a few showers.
