HOUSTON — Grab the umbrella this Monday morning. We have strong storms for your Monday commute. A few of these storms will be capable of producing heavy rain to create high water spots. A severe thunderstorm warning and even a tornado warning not out of the question.
A completely different story by the afternoon as storms clear, humidity drops and temperatures will continue to drop.
Another cold front will bring rain across the area Thursday in to Friday. then open the door for cold air this weekend! 40's widespread expected Saturday morning!
HOUSTON WEATHER TIMELINE:
This weekend: Warming up with lows in the 60's and 70's and highs in the upper 80's. Slight rain chances Saturday night. Expect a 30% rain chance on Sunday with higher humidity.
Monday: Cold front moving through during the morning- making for strong storms along the way. Clearing and beautiful by the afternoon.
Tuesday: Clearing out and cool again. Lows in the 50's and highs in the 70's with much lower humidity.
Wednesday: Expect another beautiful day with mostly sunny skies.
Thursday: Next front arrives- clearing through Friday- getting chilly by Saturday.
