It's official. 

The temperature dropped to 32 degrees on Monday night at 11:46, which is the first official freeze of the season.  

It had been 277 days since the last freeze and considered later than normal. The first Dallas-Fort Worth freeze usually occurs by Nov. 22. 

The last freeze probably feels like it was last year. It was on Feb. 27. 

Sunshine makes a return and temps rebound to near seasonal normal this afternoon.

the weekend looks great! Increasing clouds on Saturday and a little warmer. Slightly cooler but still pleasant on Sunday.
