The National Weather Service already confirmed three tornadoes touched down in North Texas Sunday — one in Arlington, one in north Fort Worth and another over Eagle Mountain Lake. Now, the NWS confirmed another one hit north Texas, this time in Farmers Branch.
The brief EF-0 tornado happened near Mustang Trails Park at 3:45 p.m. Sunday and had estimated winds of about 85 mph and a path length of less than half a mile, the NWS said.
