It will be easier to detect which spots you shouldn't park at near Zilker Park for Blues on the Green this summer. The Austin Center for Events announced Thursday they will add additional temporary signs to let people know which areas are restricted.

For instance, signs will be hung in neighborhoods adjacent to Zilker Park including all or parts of Barton Hills Drive, Trailside Drive, Kinney Avenue, Garner Avenue, Barton Boulevard, Spoffard Street, Sunset View, Cliff Drive, Linscomb Avenue and Virginia Avenue.

The City said people may be ticketed or towed if they park in no parking areas on the days of the event between 4 and 10 p.m. They also added that there is pay-for-parking available at Stratford Fields and Park Polo Fields, but once those are full, there aren't any other options.

The city urged people who plan to attend to use alternate transportation options like the bus, ride-sharing services or biking.
