So, let me see if I've got this straight. The highest scoring team in the NFL, a Saints team that is averaging 37 points a game, comes to Texas and scores 10.
I think I need to sit down.
Well, at the very least, I do hope you remember that I said I never say never when talking about the chances of one team beating another. I hope you remember that, and forget everything else I said.
I didn't think the Cowboys had a chance. Now, I have said this Cowboys defense is actually pretty good, but I have never thought it was this good. The Saints had three first downs and only 59 yards and no points in the first half. None. They were down 13 at the half. The Cowboys get shut out in the 2nd [half], and still win.
There might be better wins in the Cowboys history. There might be bigger wins when they really needed one. But they were so long ago, I don't remember 'em. Because the Cowboys beating the Saints last night, 13-10, has made the lovely Mrs. Hansen incredibly happy. And if she's happy, I'm happy.
But I do need to sit down.
