AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Longhorns are NIT Champions after defeating Lipscomb 81-66 Thursday evening at Madison Square Garden.
Dylan Osetkowski notched a double-double with a team-high 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jase Febres pitched in 17 points with five rebounds.
It's the Longhorns' second NIT Championship in program history and the first since 1978.
Texas finished the season 21-16.
