ARGYLE, Texas — Argyle baseball was fantastic last year. 37-0. State champs. And named national champs.

And bad news for the rest of Texas...

"We graduated one pitcher," head coach Ricky Griffin said. "Every defensive starter on the field this year was on the field at the state championship game."

So, run it back -- 34-1-1 this year, and ranked (oh, they're slacking) #2 nationally, by multiple polls.

Now they're pursuing yet another state championship -- only five more rounds to get there.
