The couple were arrested Feb. 12 after Wise County Sheriff's deputies responded to a domestic violence call near Newark and found Fabila with scratches on his face and found two children locked in a dog kennel together.

Deputies said two other children also showed signs of malnutrition and that food inside the home had been locked up, not reachable by the children. The children were all between the ages of 1-5 years old.
