We're just hours away from polls closing in North Texas, so if you still haven't voted yet, here's a quick overview of how you can get that done – and most importantly, in time.

When do the polls close?

Election polls close at 7 p.m. local time in Texas (and that includes El Paso, which is on Mountain Time) , but if you're in line at 7, you still get to vote. So just make sure you're in line by that time.

How do I know if I'm registered?

Not sure if you're registered to vote? Go to this link on the Texas Secretary of State's website (or just search "Texas voter lookup") and enter your information, either by driver's license or address and date of birth. The result will tell you if you're registered, and where you're registered to vote (i.e. Tarrant County or Dallas County). And it'll tell you your voting precinct number.

Where can I vote?

You can also look up your voter registration on your county's elections website (searching "[insert county] voter lookup" should get you there), which will tell you your precinct's address.
