DALLAS-- Hands down, ask any Texan and they could have told you this months ago!
The Lone Star State, known for its BBQ, football and the heat, can now add Buc-ee's to the list.
Buc-ee's, one of the most popular rest stops in Texas has now been named the best rest stop in America by Bon Appetit magazine.
It's no surprise why. From the delicious food to the clean restrooms, Buc-ee's has everything a road tripper needs and more.
The chain was even voted "Best Bathroom in America in 2012."
"Rest stops are the last place you would want to stop to get something nice to eat. You go into survival mode," Co-founder Arch "Beaver" Aplin III says. "So when you stop at Buc-ee's and get an amazing chopped beef sandwich or garlic jerky, it's a surprise that it's of the highest quality."
Whether you're on a road trip to Houston or San Antonio, the chain has over 35 locations in Texas.
