Pizza Hut is expanding its beer delivery service — but not in Texas

The Plano-headquartered pizza chain is expanding its beer delivery service to Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, and more areas of California and Arizona.

Pizza and beer go together like, well, pizza and beer. It's a classic combination for many football game-watching parties all over America, and Pizza Hut is capitalizing on American football fans' proclivity for pizza and some pils — just not in Texas.

The Plano, Texas-headquartered pizza chain announced in a press release Monday they will be expanding their beer delivery service to almost 300 restaurants in Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, as well as more locations in California and Arizona, where the service began in 2017.

Franchises in Texas are not on that list, but the press release says that Pizza Hut is looking to expand the beer-delivering service to up to 1,000 restaurants by this summer.

How does it work? Customers who order beer with their pizza must meet delivery minimum requirements and must place an order through Pizza Hut's website, Pizza Hut's app or (if you want to talk to an actual human) over the phone. Delivery fees apply.
