Man 'robbed for money', shot in abdomen, Fort Worth police say

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooter has not been arrested.

A man was shot in the abdomen during a robbery early Monday in Fort Worth, police say. 

Officers responded around 12:08 a.m. in the 3500 block of Hemphill Street near Biddison Street. 

The man was "robbed for money," police said. 

He was transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, police said. 

The shooter has not been arrested, police said early Monday.
