University Park police arrest unlicensed massage therapist accused of sexual assault

UNIVERSITY PARK, Texas — Police are investigating whether there could be more victims after officers arrested an unlicensed massage therapist accused of sexual assault.

University Park police said they arrested Stephen Boyd, 58, of Dallas, on June 6. He faces a charge of sexual assault. According to an affidavit, his massage license expired in 2007. 

A woman alerted police on June 3 of an alleged incident when she received a massage a few days before at Boyd's Snider Plaza business in the 3400 block of Westminster Avenue near Lovers Lane. 

Boyd posted a $10,000 bond and was released, police said.
