DALLAS -- Dallas Fire-Rescue is asking your help to identify a suspect who threw a Molotov cocktail at the front porch of a Dallas home.
According to Dallas-Fire Rescue, it happened at about 5:18 a.m. Tuesday, March 6 at a home at 6214 Woodland Dr.
Video surveillance shows the suspect lighting a Molotov cocktail moments before throwing it. Officials say the suspect drove up to the home, walked up to the home with device in-hand and threw it at the front porch before speeding off in a vehicle.
The noise woke up someone inside the home who was able to extinguish the small fire before it actually did any damage to the home.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dallas Fire-Rescue Arson Investigation Division, at (214) 670-4312. There is a Crime Stoppers reward with information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
