DALLAS -- A photographer was injured during tense moments following Thursday's Trump rally in Dallas as supporters and protesters poured out of Gilley's, where the event was held.

Danny Fulgencio, a freelance photographer, was struck on the top of his head by what appeared to be a rock, leaving his face bloodied.

"I got clocked by what appears to be a stone," Fulgencio told News 8 cameras. When asked how he was doing, Fulgencio said: "I've had better evenings."

His head was bandaged and he returned to work about 15 minutes later. It was unclear if a Trump supporter or a protester threw the rock.

There was no immediate word if Dallas police found the person that threw the rock.
