ST. CHARLES, Mo.– If you've been on the Internet for three seconds, you probably saw a post or two about how a No. 16 college basketball team took down a No. 1 team in the NCAA tournament and basically demolished everyone's March Madness brackets.

You might have not even known what UMBC stood for (The University of Maryland, Baltimore County or as the Internet lovingly nicknamed it, The University of Murdering Brackets Completely) or how the school's mascot is a retriever, which is the state dog of Maryland.
