GARLAND, Texas — Garland Police think a dead man found in a storage unit Monday may have been murdered, and are asking for the public's help in solving the crime.
42-year-old Victor Aramburo was found lying unconscious around 6 p.m. Monday in a storage unit in the 400 block of South Kirby Drive that was being used as a living quarters, police say.
Garland Fire was called to the scene and pronounced Aramburo dead.
Police say Aramburo had trauma marks on his body. They are investigating Aramburo's death as a murder, but are working with the Dallas County Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
Police were initially asking for help in finding 38-year-old Marietta Allen, who is the last known person who had contact with Aramburo. After they found her. police say Allen spoke to Garland detectives voluntarily, and was released.
