Dallas police seek tips in killing of man, 54, in east Oak Cliff

DALLAS — Police are seeking information on a man who was killed Sunday in east Oak Cliff.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 10:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of East Hobson Avenue, near South Marsalis Avenue.

Police said they found 54-year-old Ramiro Hernandez Marquez on the ground in front of his house. 

Dallas Fire-Rescue was called to the scene and took Marquez to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he later died, police said. 

No one has been arrested, police said.
