Dallas police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man near Forest Lane and Leisure Drive in Old East Dallas.

When officers responded to a shooting call on the 10100 block of Forest Lane shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, they found a man who had been shot.

Officials later identified him as Mohamed Koroma, 24. He was found in the front seat of a black Chevrolet SUV, they said, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say there was another male and female in the car that the suspect got into.
