While the cause of death is being investigated, police are calling it "unexplained" at this time.

Just three days before the discovery of the body in a creek, another transgender woman was found dead inside her North Dallas apartment. Police say Carla Patricia Flores-Pavon, 26, was found murdered at about 4 p.m. on May 9.

A witness told police a man was seen leaving Flores-Pavon's apartment before she was found dead inside but no description of that male has been released.
