A 10-year-old boy was treated at Cook Children's Medical Center for a gunshot wound Friday night, Fort Worth police said.
The boy was with his older brother when police say the older brother accidentally shot him in the leg sometime before 10 p.m. He was then taken to the children's hospital in a private vehicle.
The two boys were playing with a firearm at the time, police at the scene said.
The boy is expected to survive his injuries, according to police.
Officials said they would not be releasing any further information.
