GRAND PRAIRIE -- Two women are wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run in Grand Prairie that took place Sunday morning.

Police say they were called at about 6 a.m. to South Belt Line Road near the eastbound service road of Interstate 20 where they found a bicyclist who had been hit by a car.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and has been identified as 42-year-old Calvin John Middleton, Jr. of Cedar Hill.

The suspects are described as two black women in their 20s, with the driver wearing a pink shirt, khaki shorts, and pink tennis shoes. The driver went back to the scene at one point, got out and viewed the victim, then took off again, police said.

They were in a mid-2000s gray four-door sedan, possibly a Chevy Malibu or Impala, that has damage to its front. The passenger side headlight is out, police said, and there's damage to the passenger rear side.

If you have any information on these suspects, call police at (972) 237-8906 or Crime Stoppers at (972) 988-TIPS.
