DALLAS — Thanks to tips from the public, Dallas police say they have identified an indecent exposure suspect who allegedly exposed himself in front of the victim and began masturbating twice in two days this week.
Now they're asking the public if they know where the alleged suspect, Jibril Salami, is hiding.
On Tuesday, the male victim was working at a construction site in the 7200 block of Coach Light Drive in the Red Bird neighborhood in southern Dallas. Between noon and 4 p.m., he was allegedly approached by Salami, who then stripped completely naked, began to masturbate, and exposed his anus to the victim.
After the unsolicited display, the 31-year-old suspect fled the scene.
Then, on Wednesday, the victim called officers to the scene after he saw Salami lying on the ground masturbating.
Officers arrived, but were unable to catch the suspect after a short foot chase. The officer who chased after the suspect identified the man as Salami.
Detectives have obtained a warrant for Salami's arrest for evading arrest in the second incident.
According to the victim, Salami has been seen performing lewd acts in the area on several other occasions.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Salami, contact Detective Ahrens with the Dallas Police Department at (214) 671-3991. You can also submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS (8477).
