Police have arrested a 17-year-old Plano Senior High School baseball player on multiple child sex charges, according to Collin County jail records.
Zachary Holifield was arrested June 20 and faces two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child with sexual contact.
Holifield apparently knew the two victims through a daycare run out of his mother’s home, police said.
Zachary Holifield, an incoming senior at Plano Senior High, had committed to play baseball at Oklahoma State, according to PerfectGame.com. The scouting site MaxPreps lists Holifield as the No. 45 high school prospect in Texas.
He was being held at the Collin County Jail on $600,000 bond.
