Deputies arrested a man charged in connection with an attempted kidnapping of a woman and her two siblings.

According to Johnson County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened Thursday morning as a 20-year-old woman and her two younger siblings, 14 and 12 years old, were walking to a bus stop on Cypress Lane between Burleson and Mansfield.

Coy Calvin Reeves, 33, pulled out a gun and told the 20-year-old she was beautiful, demanding they should come with him. That's when all three of them started screaming and took off running.

Shortly before 8 a.m., Johnson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the incident. A deputy, who had recently encountered Reeves on an unrelated call in that area, said the suspect's description matched Reeves.

Johnson County deputies found Reeves at a residence a short distance away on Merrill Court. Reeves was arrested. Deputies said they recovered a BB gun inside the residence that was used in the alleged attempted abduction.

Reeves was sent to the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center. Reeves was wearing an ankle monitor at the time. He was on parole for possession of a firearm by a felon.
