Fort Worth gas station clerk hit by stray bullet during argument, police say

The shooting was reported at the Valero gas station on Trinity Boulevard.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A gas station clerk in Fort Worth was caught in crossfire during an argument and hit by a stray bullet, according to police.

The Fort Worth Police Department told WFAA that officers responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to a Valero gas station located in the 13900 block of Trinity Boulevard, which is down the street from Highway 360.

Police said at least one round went through the window of the store and struck an employee. 

Witnesses said this shooting resulted from an argument in the parking lot. Individuals who were involved in the shooting fled the scene, police said.

The gas station employee was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. 

There was not any other information immediately available.
