Police are questioning a man who says he shot and killed an alleged robbery suspect during a home invasion in East Oak Cliff early Monday.
At about 2:45.a.m, police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of Hudspeth Avenue, where they found a man dead from at least one gunshot wound.
A man believed to be a resident of the home told investigators that he shot the unidentified man after he broke inside and was attempting a robbery.
The homeowner is not expected to be charged and was cooperating with police as homicide detectives continued to investigate.
The name and age of the alleged suspect has not been released.
