The suspect moved toward officers and refused to put down his gun, police say

CARROLLTON, Texas — A Saturday afternoon traffic stop in Carrollton turned into a short chase and ended with a Carrollton police officer shooting and killing an armed suspect after the suspect would not put down his gun, according to a statement from the Carrollton Police Department.
