Play ball! It's music to my ears.

The Texas Rangers are in full swing, and here are some tips to save on tickets, parking, and food.

First you need a ticket to get in:

Check out $10 Tuesdays for select seating sections. You can also add on a meal deal for just $10 online + $10 parking. Gotta a crew to bring? Take advantage of the Coca-Cola Family Pack with savings of up to 50%. It includes four tickets, dogs, drinks, Kid’s Zone wristbands, and a program. Tickets start at $69.
Tickets on Thursday are half price with coupon code OZARKA or fans who bring in a Takis bag will get $35 all you can eat tickets (air conditioning included). You can get in the ballpark for $14 for Fireworks Fridays on select days, or use code DRPEPPER for $12 tickets.

Want to go on other days? Consider buying the cheap seats from $6-$14 on StubHub. Make sure and compare ticket brokers such as SeatGeek and Vivid Seats, but be aware of high dollar service and shipping fees and make sure to shop and compare to get the most savings.

Check out fan forums where you could find a hot deal or just bid on tickets at ScoreBig. It is kind of like the Priceline of sports tickets. Just search events in your area, and make an offer on tickets and get an instant answer on whether your bid is accepted.

Parking costs $17 at the stadium. To pinch a few pennies, consider using a shuttle service like J. Gilligans for just $8 or Humperdinks for just $5, or hop on the Arlington Trolley intended for guests staying at area hotels. Also, check out apps like Park Whiz to save you some extra money. I was able to find parking spots around the area for as low as $7 and it gives you peace of mind as the spot is reserved.

The ballpark has a fairly liberal policy on bringing food and drink into the stadium, which can help you save, but don’t overdo it. Only soft-sided collapsible coolers are allowed.

For our family, we like to save on tickets so we can pig out on ballpark food.

Hope those are some savings that you can knock out of the park!

And even if you don’t plan to take in a game you can still score big. Several restaurants are offering some great incentives when the Rangers win. We're expecting something special from Papa John's.

Papa John's has teamed up with retired Ranger 'Pudge' Rogriguez, No. 7, for a $7 Opening Day deal. Use LE7GOR
