DALLAS — Since the 15-story, 365,000-square-foot Victory Commons One broke ground last year, a few things have changed about the project.

Recently, developer Hillwood Urban revealed a few new enhancements planned for the building to keep tenants safe and healthy after COVID-19. The project's name has also changed slightly.

"It's more of a clarification, if you will, that this is one of a couple buildings," said Ken Reese, executive vice president at Hillwood Urban.

Hillwood owns an 8.5-acre parking lot along Victory Avenue, where on the southernmost portion, Victory Commons One is currently being built. Two more office towers could eventually join it, the company revealed earlier this week.

"It's always been in the plans, that we would have three buildings there. We could potentially combine the second and third buildings into a larger complex, but we always thought about the eight and a half acres being for office buildings," said Reese.

The three towers combined could offer up to 1.5 million square feet of new office space, according to marketing material released by Hillwood.

So far, no tenants have been announced at Victory Commons One. Hillwood is marketing and leasing the property themselves.

The project, which is being developed in partnership with San Antonio-based USAA Real Estate, is expected to deliver by November 2021. Reese says USAA Real Estate is not currently attached as a partner to the future buildings.
