Colorado's premier holiday parade since 1975 was celebrated in a new 9NEWS special.

DENVER — Colorado's premier holiday parade was celebrated in an hour-long special that aired Dec. 4.

The 9NEWS Parade of Lights Holiday Special featured looks at past parades, performances by local artists, season's greetings from 9NEWS personalities new and old and a special reading from Mark Koebrich himself.

Countless Coloradans submitted their memories of attending the Parade of Lights and those were highlighted as well.

While the 9NEWS Parade of Lights won't happen in its traditional form this year, you can see eight floats at locations throughout downtown Denver through Dec. 31.
