Fast & Furious revs up again! After eight movies earning nearly $5 billion, "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw" is the first stand-alone film in the franchise. Talk about a one-two punch!
Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are back as the title characters. They've been trying to take each other down since "Furious 7." But make it a one, two, three punch, because Idris Elba is the bad guy! When he's behind a biothreat that involves Shaw's sister, Hobbs and Shaw team up for the greater good. Johnson is also proud to showcase his Samoan culture in the movie. I'm on vacation, so I was unable to screen it, but given the starpower and action, looks like a winner!
