I was driving down HWY 205 coming home from work one day and seen a beautiful patch of bluebonnets on the side of the road. Being a first time Glamma, I just had to take my 5 month old glammababy there to get her pictures made in the bluebonnets. She studied the bluebonnets for a little bit then she wanted to taste them. (Don't worry we didn't let her taste them) We finally snapped a few shots and was on our way. I really wanted to take more pictures but my husband and I was worried about chiggers and snakes even though we used precaution. The pictures turned out great and everyone was chigger-free. I spent hours trying to find out what I could put on her to prevent chiggers and finally I read somewhere that vicks vapor rub works. We used vicks vapor rub for infants and rubbed it lightly around her legs and arms. Either there was no chiggers or the vicks worked. If I would of known for sure that vicks rub works I would of had more photos taken.
