While attending the Carter Bloodcare Appreciation Event at TMS there was a terrible accident where two laters the rider in the accident passed away from his injuries.
My wife and I were at Victory Lane taking pictures when we heard a loud bang followed by squealing tires and then another bang. We viewed the local rescue truck heading for Turn 4 where we saw the yellow Corvette facing the opposite direction up against the Safer Wall. Watched two Care Flite helicopters land and leave and then we were informed that the wall was damaged so that we will not be able to continue the rides for the day. The entire event is to be rescheduled for a later date.
