I was coming home and noticed a thick line of stormy weather behind me. It was awesome and I wanted to get a great shot of it with my camera, several shots. O.k, several dozen shots. I zoomed to the church parking lot and begun. As it crept up on me, I was in awe. The frontline of this storm dove for the ground as the body and tail rose upward. This was the scariest, most massive wall of weather I had ever seen in person. It stood over me like a giant, frozen in thought. Do I panic...yes. But, do I rush home or keep shooting? What to do?? I shot half the time I thought of and rushed the next few blocks home. It looked like a funnel forming. I was afraid to look down my street. Odd anticipation, this is why I don't watch scary movies. I approached the corner and was relieved. The body of this monster storm was at least 3 streets over. I watched it spin for a while. Then it just rained...hard. Whew!
