"Hey guys wake up, Ive got a suprise for you today". A familiar scene around the northern half of the metroplex this morning as a pre winter snow event blankets the area.
Here in Denton, the flakes were big and wet as the snow accumulated on vehicles and grassy areas quicker than it could melt. The frigid temps didnt stop Tyler, Kaleigh and Justin Peacock from getting out and tossing a few snowballs around. All three kids were ready and dressed in record time this morning in attempt to savor as much playtime as possible.
Sure to be the topic of their classrooms this morning, the snow would most likely be gone before lunch or recess.
