CareCenter Ministries is holding its 22nd annual Thanksgiving Outreach to serve the working poor, disadvantaged and homeless people of Dallas.
A traditional thanksgiving dinner will be served in addition to live music, children activities, free winter clothing, and prizes. We are committed to reaching out to the community to assist our neighbors in ways that will have an immediate and long term impact on their lives.
Our Thanksgiving Outreach is a collaboration of churches and volunteers giving of their time and resources to reach out to the underprivileged, needy and homeless. Our goal is to develop fellowship, share resources, celebrate our broad cultural diversity and give thanks to God for our city.
CareCenter Ministries was established in 1986 and has been serving Dallas for over 23 years. It is under the guidance of Eldred Sawyer, himself an example of the transforming power of unconditional love. CareCenter Ministries is planted and rooted in the mission field of the inner city, where hundreds are impacted weekly by its outreaches. It also provides full time assistance for both men and women with life controlling issues at three fully equipped facilities in the Dallas area.
