I thought you may want to see this photo I took of a Bobcat wandering across our backyard fence at 8:30 last Saturday Morning. As a Brit, new to the DFW area I had no idea if I should be alarmed about this or just simply look on in awe! The first photo was taken through our living room window - right in the middle of the Stonebridge Ranch Community in McKinney.
The second photo was taken as I went out into the yard to see him looking back at me from on top of our neighbours fence. He looks like an innocent little kitten, but believe me, he was as big as a medium-size dog. I'm guessing 15" to the shoulder?
I did call the non-emergency services immediately as I was concerned for the safety of small pets in the area, but I was told this was "a natural habitat issue".
