My husband shot this video on Tuesday morning as he was heading back south down HWY 5 to get back to Allen. Traffic had slowed to about 5 mph. He and my son noted the construction earlier as they traveled north on their way to McKinney, amazed at the size of the items they were about to bury.
While at their destination, they heard the boom of the explosion. On their way back to Allen, this is what they saw. The heat was incredible and he was a bit worried about the finish on his truck. Our son was on the passenger side, a little more worried about his eyebrows.
