When we were returning from Durango, CO we saw "landspout" tornadoes. This was on August 7. They are not dust devils, but develop in a manner similar to water spouts. There were up to 3 in a line on the ground at the same time. They were about 20 miles east of Alamosa, CO. They occured during a thunderstorm.
